Who We Are

Ryan Black entered the court reporting profession in 1996 as an official court reporter for the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. After 10 years of official court reporting, Ryan was promoted to Chief Official Court Reporter, where he ran an office comprising 20 official court reporters and two support staff. His responsibilities included scheduling of reporters to complement a Bench of 14 full-time judges.


As Chief Official Court Reporter, Ryan ensured all reporters were completing their transcripts within the state-mandated time requirements. His accountability was to the President Judge, Board of Judges and the District Court Administrator; and he was also responsible for all financial and budgetary requirements of the office and numerous other administrative tasks, in addition to continued duties as official court reporter.
